I for one find it easier to believe that we were planned as opposed to
being just a cosmic "accident"...the very intricasies of our wonderful planet are necessary to keep life alive...natural disasters are nothing more than the earth replenishing itself. Volcanos create new land masses or create rich fertile soil where there is already land. Earthquakes release large amounts of gasses, that have been frozen in the rock, into the air, this is one of the events that helps to maintain our atmosphere, despite our best efforts to destroy it. If you look at all the factors necessary to develop and sustain intelligent life on a planet(and those factors even go down to the infinitesimal) the odds are better of hitting the big one in the lottery 1,000,000 times in row than for a planet to meet ALL the necessary conditions for developing and sustaining intelligent life "accidentally" |

Is it wrong for a Christian to openly smoke mariuana?
Or is it only bad if it is abused? |
it depends on the christian you ask and how they interpret the verse in
the bible about partaking in all of GODS creations. me personally, i think you'll have to answer for it. |

Is it time to find a new Church? My pastor just hired an ex-bouncer
named Bubba to pass the collection plate.. |

we dont judge each god judges us all

and im bubba

God gave us the gift life, if a Christian is abusing his body it is like
saying to God we dont like what he gave us. It is a form of defilement to your Creator |

Okay, I'm weighing in a little late but...
I may be wrong in this, but I do believe that if one were to read the book entitled "The Bible" and one were to form their beliefs around this book, then one would see (read) that "God" gave "Man" free will. Although the concept relayed through the Bible dipicts "God" as omnipotent and omniscient, it does not say that "God" is infaliable. I think your orginal post has two main errors in it. First, your use of the words freedom and destiny..."The Bible" provides for neither one. The only thing provided for "man" is free will. I do not believe that everyone has some predetermined "book" of their life that is written before they have lived...I'm just not going to buy into a "God" that would create a being just to set them up to fail. I can accept the omnipotent and oniscient parts of a higher power. Here's basically how I look at it: Your parents teach you right from wrong. Your dad can watch you do something that you know is wrong...but he can't always stop you from doing it. What he can to is love you unconditionally and accept you into his arms when you come back to him and ask for his help and forgiveness. Isn't "God" refered to as "The Heavenly Father"? |

If you traveled back in time & video taped Jesus, would God allow the
tape to show what Jesus was like? Think about it! Then ask yourself, would Jesus know you are from the future even though you wore clothing of that time period and concealed the video camera (using batteries to operate it)? |

good
i dont think traveling back in time is an option
i think god would allow people to see it and i don't think jesus would
realize it unless GOD told him. jesus was not omniscient |
