Pre-marital sex: Right or wrong?
|
|
|

Not wrong in my opinion and I wouldn't date the sort of person that thought that it was.

Pre-marital sex: Right or wrong? Whats your own take on it?? Depends on how you feel about it, and your gf. |

I wouldn't even contenplate marriage until I had been in a proper relationship with someone for a good while. I don't even personally consider marriage to be something that I need. It's a piece of paper that serves no useful purpose as far as I'm concerned. A committed relationship is a committed relationship and nobody is going to tell me that their relationship is better than mine merely because they have a ring and a certificate. Neither the state or a supernatural being makes a relationship legitimate. It is the couple themselves and not anything or anybody else that make each other happy.

Right, despite the fact that it's wrong for me personally. If I were in any circumstance other then the one I'm in, I would need to be sure that I will be sexually satisfied before committing to someone.

I don't buy the whole "gotta test drive" first argument. If I'm in love with someone we can work on the sex (if there's a problem with it).
That being said, I don't believe there is anything morally wrong with premarital sex. |

What about sex outside of marriage when there is some other factor. I struggle with it because my wife of thirty years had a stroke five years ago and is now disabled (more than just physically). She no longer knows me other than as her care giver.

She no longer knows me other than as her care giver. Wow.. what happened to your wedding vows? My wedding vows are intact. That is why I am asking. Is there a time when one partner is no longer able or capable ... Or is the healthy partner to remain celibate for the duration even if it is years. |
