why do some people here dont like to tell their name unless you get close to them?

i have chatted with many people here but only know name of few... its funny and lil awkward.
and some people prefer to call them by their username...
p.s: I don't mean to offend anyone sorry if you think so.

and what about the people not putting their picture? im not talking about scammers. they say they are here for dating. you have show your identity to get a person you want.

Meh, my photo is up, the things I talk about tend to be pretty much the same all over the internet, and my writing style has been labeled "unique" by some. So while I won't give out first and last to just any ol' website (got 'em on Facebook though so the folks -- all two of 'em -- from here who are friends with me there do know), I should probably introduce myself properly:

If you remember me Krish, you know I had pictures up for many months. Several months ago I changed my profile to inviting friends only, but have to argue that point a with certain messengers. I took my face off as my main pic, but still had that issue...so just recently took all my face/body pics down. I can send someone special any picture he wants whenever he wants to see me....until he SEES me.

i remember. you had a pic of your. sorry for the problem you had. everyone knows you as cyndi though. im just curious to know the reason only. not to argue with anyone. it may be easy for men to provide their personal info. but for women, they feel insure, i can understand that, to give their personal info. thank you for your reply.

I do think it's different for men for the most part, but maybe movies like "Hand that Rocks the Cradle" has them a little on edge about messing with strange women, whose agenda they are unsure of.

I also think that some of them just don't want their wives to find out what they're doing in their man caves late at night.

i don't post a picture or my name because of identity thieves.
