Why let pride ruin a special thing and do you use sex to get over your last heartbreak and does it work

Well, there's pride and then there's self respect. I don't let pride ruin anything. But, sometimes you have to walk away from something you like or want out of self respect. Once. Long ago in a galaxy far, far away, I used sex to get over a heartbreak. It just made me feel worse.
