well, if you happen to be an Orioles fan...if you're a fan of the Texas Rangers, well, it was one for the ages.
Final score: Texas 30 Baltimore 3 That's no misprint. _30_ runs by the Rangers today at Camden Yards.... |

i'm a yankee fan, but my brothers are orioles fans.
How the heck did they score 30 is that unheard of. |

blonderockermom, I'm just reading the AP writeup on the game now...according to the stats guys, it's the 9th time a team's scored 30 or more in a game, but it's also the first time it's happened since 1897.
HOLY CROW! I didn't even realize this, and to be honest it makes it even worse....the Orioles had a 3-0 lead going into the 4th inning. 30 unanswered runs...I'm just amazed. |

I wonder who the Oriole pitcher was?? He must have been throwing meat!!!
LOL and its a double header!!!
The sick thing?
The Rangers could have been shut out in the 2nd game and they would have still shattered their team record for most runs in a doubleheader With that said, they've let up a bit in the nightcap...scored only 9 runs so far. |

Never mind who the pitcher was for Baltimore - Who's quarterbacking the Rangers? Can't remember the last time I watched a baseball game and a football game broke out.

Baltimore just needs to go into the dug-out and fill it in behind them...LOL

thanks jwh for answering my question
I guess it was the 2 grand slams that pushed up the score!!
Not a problem, BRM

Baltimore had a 3-0 lead, and Texas won 30-3?
I've heard of "coming from behind to win" before, but this is ridiculous! |
