i have had several e-mail sent through the site that have not been delivered

as recent as today

and first noticed on the 8-11

have had some that i recived late but put in the prober space time wise

had received it in a timely fashion but when i got it

it positioned its self in the time stamps proper location

i just happened to be looking for an old mail and seen a couple i did not respond to

and yep they were new to me

i answer mail when i get it if answer looks to be expected

not sure what is up

maybe the mutual match is effecting the mail ---- seems that is when the problems started

I've had the same problem.I also get mail notices,and my box is empty.

There are two main reasons why you can get an email notice and not have a message in your mail box when you reach the site:

- Sometimes, emails can get delayed by your email provider. For example, sometimes we'll send a message to hotmail but it won't actually get delivered for up to an hour or longer. By that time, you've already read the message on JSH, so when you receive the email, you don't see any unread messages.

The email we send you will say who sent you the message and what time it was sent at. Look in your inbox to see if there is a message that matches that time, and if there is, then you know the email delay was the issue.

- On other occasions, someone will send you a message but then gets banned or deactivates before you read it. If they're banned, we often delete all of the messages they've sent because they are a scammer trying to steal your money and we try to protect our users from contacting them.

The email notice we sent you contains the username of the user who sent you the message. You can check if that user is still active by going to:

http://www.justsayhi.com/[username]

...where you replace [username] with the actual username you are trying to find. For example, to view my profile, you can go to:

i have my e-mail notification turned of going to my external email

ok maybe i should have said

my email shows sent

and the addressee does not receive it

sent whisper another one today and this is her thread response to my asking if she get it

Mike an I just not loved enough to allow e-mails? Did you block my e-mails from getting through? Nah, I am only kidding. This site rocks, but it would rock even more if I was receiving my e-mails...lol. I only know people are trying to send them to me cause I have my e-mail notification turned off to go to my actual e-mail account.

I'm still waiting for an answer on this one, asked it in the thread "Sent Mail" already.

We have a spam filter in place that may be blocking your messages. If you send me a mail and let me know specifically who you were trying to email and when, I can see if it was blocked.
