I have two Quarter-Horses(two mares)....Honey & Meg. Honey she is 31 & Meg will be 18 in May. My step-father bought Meg,for me b4 he passed away....we found out that Meg was going to be sent to the slaughter-house(for a hurt leg)...she turned out to be a great trail horse. I was givin Honey,by some friends...she was a great trail horse for me..she is enjoying life now without a worry.

I use to have 2 horses. A Kentucky Mountain Saddle horse and A Rocky Mountain Saddle horse, (pictured here). "Mocha Java" He moved with me from WA state to N.M. then up here to Colorado. I regretfully ended up selling him 2 years ago.

I have Quarter-Horses...that is all i have ever had...I love all horses but just prefer to have Quarter Horses.

I breed arabians and have 7 horses and expecting 2 foals this year.

I own a 16hh Australian stock horse x thoroughbred. He is around 12 years old, and I bought him from an auction for $100 as a 2 year old. He is the sweetest boy, I used to compete on him regularly however my younger sister now rides him competitively. I do enjoy horse riding however I fell off and injured my back three years ago and it plays up a bit when I'm in the saddle.

I love horses but we can't have them as pets over here as the law forbids :( loves horseriding to make up for it :)

how can law forbid owning a horse? I do not know where you are from...but that is very sad to me!

Ya, I live with a couple of horses. They pretty much own me. I have seen them do the freakiest things such as making tools, working with the dog to open.a gate and communicate with me in various ways. Yup. Wonderful creatures to live with.

I am down to one buckskin mare. She is bred for reining but I'm a packer. So I lead strings of mules off of her. We covered about 1,500 miles last summer. I'm new here. Can't figger out how to add her pic on this post.
