Never mind I never got to Brush your locks Gaze into your eyes And lose my soul Betrayed by my heart Smashed it to smithereens Did not you know It beat just for you Please don’t go To those places I cannot follow It hurts me so Tears stream Down my cheeks Over what could have been And what will never be Don’t fret about me Live life and be free I will recover Over time eventually But I could desperately Use a hug right now As I have nothing To live for
