it is stigmatized to tell others what they 'should' or should not do these days
the mantra is if it makes you happy and doesn't hurt anyone (immediate and physical harm anyhow) 
I personally find it odd when there is a large age difference between a couple,, not necessarily good or bad, but certainly odd makes me wonder if one is more mature than their peers or if the other is less mature than their peers,, but 'consenting adults' is the bottom line of our culture I struggled with an older man fetish for a while, mostly because I was finding it difficult to find men who could be trusted to take the 'manly' lead,,,and thought an older man would be a natural,,,,,boy was I wrong,,lol |

On the flipside, I have dated well put together, intellectually compatible, younger ladies....but when I've said, "Sure, go out with the girls! You haven't done that in a long time" I've gotten a retort of, "Well doesn't that worry you?"
