Topic: Why aren't women romantic? | |

Is it because of feminism, or is it because they think that it's the man's job to be romantic, or is it something else?

I think women can be very romantic! It's about the "little things" that they both give & want

My Girlfriend is very romantic... well in that nerdy kind of way (which is good because I fit the stereotype of a geek perfectly). We make an evening of watching Doctor Who, sometimes I cook, sometimes she does, go for long drives together out in the middle of no where, or sometimes we just don't do anything at all except lay there and discuss random things.
You don't need a candle light dinner, lingerie, roses, or any of that noise to have it be considered romantic. It's sharing in the things that you both enjoy together. Enjoying and cherishing every moment that you have.... even if things go wrong for one or both of you. |

I'm curious. What is "romantic?"

I haven't known many women, but some of the few I did know were romantic.
JB - nuzzling my neck I consider romantic, and it feels good too. |

romance is a show of apprecation
generally speaking, women expend quite a bit of energy showing appreciation in relationships by their actual TASKS , like keeping the clothes cleaned, keeping the dishes cleaned, preparing for and shopping for the melas,,,having the children, nurturing the children,,etc,,, men dont tent to exert as much actual physical energy in the relationship so they express apprecation in other 'little tasks' like buying and giving flowers or cards, cooking an 'occasional' meal taking their lady to the occasional movie or dinner,,,etc,,, |

Is it because of feminism, or is it because they think that it's the man's job to be romantic, or is it something else? Neither...Not everyone is romantic...if you want romance you have find someone who is just as romantic! it's suppose to go both ways. If he/she aren't maybe they really aren't interested in that person. another way of at looking at it! I'm a hopeless romantic...sometimes I think I may over do it! *giggle* Love to Hard I think... Some can't handle it not even my friends LOL! They get use to though my friends I mean! Guys another story *giggle* |
