alot of people tend to judge
you not only by your looks

but by your health issue
as well

and we just human
like anyone else

a human with feelings

so you cant say
we know how you feel
when in reality
you dont

i have had problems
with my kidneys for 30yrs
they actually think longer
i have been on dialysis
for 8yrs... yep and im a fighter

i have 2 birthdefects
one was my heartvalce
which i had surgery on 8yrs ago
to find out it was a birthdefect
that doesnt show up untill your early 40s

and the other is called lawerence beild moon syndrome
it effects each person in a differnt way
but it does cause issue with the kidneys

my son also has this same birtdefect

strange with all the test i had with my son
when i was pg with him
they never new he only had one kidney
untill 6yrs ago

Alright but what has that got to do with testing true colours? Do you want people to post here saying if that would matter if they were thinking about dating you?

teating true colors
has to do with how the
person tends to treat
you when you come
out and state
your health issue
many tend to run and hide

so many tend to brush
you away like dirt

Yes. We're all so different. I'd hardly be surprised if you felt patronized half the time. I'm sure some people think we can't cope, but when you get ill with something, you find your own way of coping. Even if a dr tries to ignore what makes you feel better, only you can feel what your body feels like, not the dr. Listening to your body is quite important. I think you're brave. Yeah, it can get pretty tough flowerforyou

Yeah, I know what you mean because I have a disability but it's not something that I like to talk much about on public forums because I go on the internet to get away from my real life problems and I don't want people to think of me as "that disabled guy".

There's always something. Whether you have a visible disability or a hidden health issue, mevery person has one thing to deal with. Anyone who discriminates because of this, is really causing trouble for themselves, because they a missing out!
