Those Crested's are dogs that are loved dearly by their owners. They are very sweet and well mannered. That first pic is of one that was seen recently on Oprah, and that second one died not too long ago. Their tongues hang out because they have no front teeth to hold them in, That is what I understand. It is my understanding that these dogs carry one of each gene. The hairless variety called the "hairless" and another one called "The powder puff" has hair. It is not unusual to have one of each. The hairless is rare.
Anyway, they aren't that ugly. All Gods creatures are beautiful.
