i feel the same. and as i go along in this journey and realize that my thoughts create my reality i wonder if we are all "gods"

i think that was Jesus original message. we are all Jesus. we find god in our selves, we are source connected, the collective. through love we can create, heal, find peace

I believe this as well. Good to know there are others like me!

I am spiritual rather than religious as well. But, I don't think being spiritual can be called a religion. Not would I want it to be. All religions have dogma. That's what they all seem to have in common. Spirituality is a personal experience free of dogma.

I do NOT do religion. I am very spiritual but I had people say the nastiest things to me in the name of "organized religion" like my illness is caused by the devil and if I just pray, GOD will fix me. Well my belief is that there is an energy to the cosmos common in everything and if you want to call that God then cool but the concept of vindictive powers that be can bite my big white azz.

There actually IS a religion called Spiritualism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiritualism
So is the original question about that, or is it intended to ask whether spirituality is, in and of itself, a religion? |

No, spirituality is not religion. People try to attain spirituality through religion ( 1st? Chicken or egg smh), and while it can be religious( relating to bible/Quran etc) . Spirituality is what religions try to attain use formal structures.

Spiritualism is a way of life rather than a religion. It follows seven principles that can be seen if you search for the 'Spiritualist National Union' website. New Spiritualism started on March the 31st 1848. Sorry that should have been 1848
