We all want love to come our way.
Thinking it might happen today.
The one beside them we will walk.
With them we always can talk.
The one life we want to share.
And we know they will always care.
They will wipe away the tears.
And will be there through the years.
The one that when we make Love.
We will truly fit like a glove.
The one when we look into there eyes.
It makes our temperature rise.
That when we hear there voice.
You know you made the right choice.
That will chase away the fears.
And listen to you with both ears.
So why is it?
When feelings hit and we must admit.
There is something there.
And we realize we are starting to care.
Why is it we start to back away?
Were we not ready to go the whole way?
We slam on the brakes.
Are we afraid of heartaches?
Unless we let the feelings flow.
And we are willing to show.
We will never know if love could come our way.
For we were too busy pushing it away.

Bonny maybe not but you want know unless you try and I'm not ready to give up either I find it here online or close by I will still have and open mind and want those what if's answered. I may end up with a broken heart or possible a real good friend or even more. But at least I would know and would not throw the thought to the wayside.

Gryphyn yur so right what is the worst a broken heart those will mend in time but the what if's always hang around.

Hummmm deep it is funny sometimes when I read what I say at times and my poems for I do get deep in thought when writing but to meet me as a person one might be surprised for I like to joke around and laugh alot and keep it on a lighter side. Hummor is a very big factor in life for me. But I do know that we must also look at reality it's self.

We are all guilty of backing away at some point in our lives. In the realizing of it, we are able to change and move forward.
