You boys could not handle the picture
Perhaps I'd like to handle the original.

I pulled the gator out of the water and sat on it
I don't generally wrestle critters. That's still so dangerous.

I bet I could handle the picture. I've wrestle animals before. Like I wrestle my dog when she pissed me off by growling at a couple people. I've also wrestled a few rheas. A rhea is like an ostrich but smaller. They stand about 4 feet tall on average when in a relaxed state. When they get aggressive they can rise to be maybe 6 feet tall.

What did you do with it afterwards? Why did you wrestle it?
I was volunteered at a gator farm
Did you volunteer, or were you volunteered, like by mom and dad.

My mom volunteered me- lifetime experience

and what was our life-lesson here Clarisse?

For me the reason I was wrestling a rhea was because the damn thing got out of it's pen. I had to catch it, restrain it and get it home by myself. Getting one down is easy once you can get close enough to grab those suckers.

I want to do it again
They have suckers?
About all I wrestle these days are the sheets on my boat, unless I keep them from getting tangled.
It certainly sucks to try to catch one. I got lucky when it ran into a fence and didn't exactly try jumping over it. I was actually fortunate enough to get some help from a neighbor after I had that basted tied up. I don't want to have to deal with rheas again. But if I had to I know how to take them down.

They don't allow it anymore
That's a relief.
They don't allow gator wrestling? Maybe you should try gator fishing instead. Like on Swamp People.

Somebody got their finger bit off. Ruins it for the rest of us. Umph.
