do you ever look a people's profile and wonder why they have one when they don't have a pic, and all their info says no answer or i'll tell ya later?? just a thought lol

lol just a little bit...at first i thought it was because they wanted to have things to talk about but then i noticed it on a lot of people's profiles and what are the odds that all those people had the same thought? lol

maybe they have no thoughts, or faces, or backgrounds, or....

yea i was thinking that my be the reason for the lack of a picture...i guess i was thinking it would make u more approachable if you had at least a couple of your interest on there...

It always did seem strange to me that people register on these sites and don't particapate. I can see moving on after a while for what ever reason but not being a part at all? Why even join?

You bring up a good point, you can do most everything by yourself but banter...

People that don't fill out their profiles are hiding something (which is arguably better than pretending to be something that they're not), or they don't think that they are obliged to make information about themselves public. I've messaged and dated somebody that had very little information on her profile and she had no photo. Anything that she told me or put on her profile could have been false or misleading in some way. The profiles are really just there for advertising and if you don't need to advertise or don't think that you should need to then you won't. You might say that if you want to atract the right people you fill out your profile and add pictures but that can and will just as well atract the wrong people.

could be they are just checking out the site before they commit to a profile.

I think some folks sign up & get frustrated if they can't figure out how to post pics or change info. You gotta figure it's scary for some to "put themselves out there" as well

no, people have all sorts of reasons to do such things. it's not my place to question them.
