The decline, this is were true love begins, you know now your partner well his/her strength and weakness, this is were you decide if the person is the right one and you want to spent quit some time with. Its either you negotiate, give in to her or his demands or you toraret so as to stay in relationship, or you kick him/her out and look for another if u dont have already at this stage. In a relationship one is more serious than the other, know which of these two are you The serious one- u give in to your partner demands and avoid conflicts at all cost. Not serious one- you always blame your partner for wrong doings even if you are wrong, you dont tolarate and fll u want another. for a better relationship, at the decline stage were u get most of the problem analyse yourself which of the two you are and know what you should do Good luck |

There is a good or better relationship. Its the matter of handling the problem at hand. Give and take relationship. Its the matter of accepting the imperfection of the other.

The most important relationship is that which you have with yourself. I strongly believe you can't love someone until you love yourself, otherwise the expectations you have for your partner will be unrealistic.

Yes thats right, give and take 60/40...40/60 balance, it certainly dosent come down to 1or 2 personality styles. Learn more about one's imperfections and continue to invite them to grow as a friend, not to forget the friend part. |

Very true You cant be good to anybody else unless your good to yourself first Probably 100% failure in one way or another |

As a widower who had a successful, happy marriage until his wife died, I see no similarity between what the OP describes and what I experienced while my wife was alive. |
