How many chances do we get?
Life and death entwined
For so long wanting nothing but my own death
To be dead was the only answer I could see
Nothing else made sense to me
Life was not all it was cracked up to be

Change came around
A second chance was given
Opting to live
Fighting through darkness
Just to survive
Sought help
Hours and hours of therapy
Tears wept, throat worn raw with screams
Came through it all


Illness strikes
Ceasing my life for a short time
Visions and voices
A short journey to the beyond
Third chance given
Reborn
Seeing through the eyes of a child once again


And now I ponder and think
How many chances are we given
Until we get it right
How many chances at life??

Many of us are given more than one chance, I feel we are given these chances because we have worked for them, I am not sure if it is a curse to have visions/dreams but it is nice to know I am not alone.

We get a new chance every day ... every morning I am blessed with a new day ...one more day to live, to laugh, to learn, to grow ... to discard what no longer works...to try on something new ...

Every day ...every hour...every moment can be another chance.

you will live thru many bumps & mountians...
Figure if a cat has nine lives, & it's so small...
then for the size differnce we should have many many!!!
