A one syllable
word, love. Most easily said, if not so, done. Easier given in bits than whole. Safer to gingerly dole one's soul. What do we risk for love's sake? All or nothing. To give or to take. Giving nothing, is worth as much. A thieving hand is no lover's touch. Risking our all is the only way to nurture a haven love might stay. Easy to see how anyone in the world can be undone by a one syllable word. |
