I consider love to be about caring for another as you care for yourself. I think that's one of love's biggest roadblocks. People often don't care enough about themselves to be able to project much love on others.
Romantic love would just be the same, but with an added soulful and physical attraction that leads to the desire to demonstrate that love in the most intimate ways.
