Topic: Dunkin Donuts Frustrating Me | |
---|---|
Went to Dunkin Donuts this morning 6am
and ordered a breakfast wrap/coffee combo. And I asked for a second wrap on the side which I was told would be addtl 99c. Combo was $2.69. Before tax my ticket was rung in it at over $4. When I tried to explain that I was overcharged the response was that: 2 wraps cost bla bla bla coffee cost bla bla bla. I asked that the clerk not do the math that way. I ordered a combo at $2.69, and a side wrap. But they continued to explain that 2 wraps cost bla bla bla. A second clerk comes over and same thing. A manager comes over and same thing. I gave up and asked for a credit on my card. Anybody else have this kind of experience? |

I'm just jealous you have a Dunkin Donuts near you.
And yes, I would believe it has happened to almost everyone at some point. Basic math is a dying skill it seems. |

Consider it a donation towards somebody's mental care.

Somebody didn't key the order in correctly. The manager should've caught it. If the clerk hit the combo key (I'm guessing here at the key setup) and then an extra wrap, if that extra wrap reallyy is supposed to bbe 99 cents then it would've tAllied correctly. Either that or the 99 cents figure you were told was wrong... but yeah, nobody seems to know math anymore.
