I heard an interesting remark on the commentaries this weekend.

"If we had gone in when we found out the people were being killed and were rising up against a brutal dictator, we would have been on the side of the people. Just regular people like you and me. But now, if we go in we are on the side of Al queda, the muslin brotherhood, and the rest who have joined the fight."

Very Interesting!

That is a very simplistic way of looking at the promlem. This isn't about the people of Syria. This is a blatant attempt to break up the power bloc of Syria Iran and Lebanon. Remember China and Russia are on the side of Syria. The West are on the side of Al Qaeda and the terrorists.

Then Britain needs to negotiate with Russia.

The people were simply protesting. They were not starting a revolution until some outsiders decided to stage a coup.

Solution: Bring in the mercs and Al Qaeda to fake a revolution.

Kill a bunch of civilians and blame it on the current government.

Now that is the truth of the matter in simple terms,

"This isn't about the people of Syria."?

There isn't much to say against logic like that.

Why not have a stab at it in your own words. All in your own time tell us about the involvement of America /United Kingdom/Nato/Qatar/Turkey/China/Russia/Israel/Saudi Arabia.

My mom pays $67.00 per month for cable television. There are more and more commercials every day. More commercials than programming. It drives me crazy sometimes. All she does is sit there and watch that boob tube.

The only people watching and believing the television are those over the age of 70.

Another thing I have noticed lately is sports shows are encroaching on the few channels I do like to watch. Basketball, baseball, football, wrestling. I hate that crap.

Then there are those stupid reality shows and stupid shows about guys hunting alligators, or pawn shop shows. I want to shoot the television like Elvis did.

I forgot to add Jordan and the UAE to that list.

More like they vow to do what's necessary for THEMSELVE'S. They always do.

Perhaps you didn't notice. the first post above about the commentator's remark was made by me. The entire context of the discussion from which I quoted was "The people of Syria" and what could have been done earlier to help them.

You have an amazing ability to twist anything you read to mean anything you want.

I quoted your false statement. Unless you were aware of the commentary to which I referred, you have no basis in fact to make such statements.

You apparently take any given statement by others and twist the meaning to whatever degree is necessary to make your points. This pattern is easily recognized and is commonly referred to as intellectual dishonesty. A very good example, in this case, would be your use of the term "my original post", when in fact, none of your statements were original posts of any kind, only responses to my post. To you, I guess you think it makes your point stronger, but in reality it just looks like you have trouble paying attention and telling the truth.
