shutterbug, I can understand your being upset about the experience, but she wasn't an it. She was a person!

Granted it is okay to be upset because she did not tell you before hand. I'm glad that you walked away. I'm glad that you did not use violence. On the other hand, regardless of how upset you, she had not done anything to deserve to be beat up.

In regards to pic(s), I say it about comfortability. If you feel comfortable, posting your pics, then great. If you do not feel comfortable in talking someone w/o pics, then that is your decision.

One does not have to go to University to learn for 5 years that posting a pic of yourself, and a good clear full view especially if it's ONLY ONE, IS BASIC COMMON SENSE.

It seems like when a woman says the SAME thing, it is icecream and honey, sugar and spice and EVERYTHING nice. And when a MAN says it? It is snat and snails and puppy do tails with fire breathing. And he is accused of DEMANDING, and called insane even by panty men. So sad.

Greiving, thanks for stating some facts. Your right though. unfortunatly, when a woman says something, it comes across differently than when a man says it. This goes for a lot of things said. I just wanted to get peoples' opinions about it. I used to not talk to guys with no pics, but I do now. This one guy and I have been talking for a while and I kind of understand him not having a pic on here. Honestly, I think he may be married, don't know for sure, but think that's why. He will end up being just an online thing.

If they are using the job excuse- they are probbly married.

I agree with Boredchick, I will talk to you if you have a pic or not. But if we are going to meet one another, I generally like to "see" you before that happens.

Many Many people use pictures off the internet of people they have just stolen (like people in prison)... Many use pictures from 10 or 20 years ago cause they arn't comfortable with who they are now.. I have even known of people using their adult childs picture for their picture! It's all disgusting but thats the internet.. Never trust a picture.. Trust time and even that sometimes doesn't work out like in Shutterbugs case.
