Topic: Whats the deal??

I fail to grasp any concept of logic in 98% of TV. Jersey Shore? Kardashians? or anything at all on the "E" station. except the history before fame. Reality tv? what a joke! when did reality begin having scripts? Anyone else think its all a buncha hog wash?

I came to the conclusion that every show is about the monies/mullah/rands/dollar/pesa/yens! Every show wants as many viewers/ratings.....the more ratings,the more money! And heck,if its a wedding,throw in a pregnancy,silly/fake relationships,fights,etc......i mean,nothing''reality'',but what the ''viewers want''! Cheap,(un-real)ity enterttainment-just like movies!

People watch 'em so the channels keep making them. Plus they cost less money to produce. They're scripted because drama sells. People didn't watch The Osbournes because they sat around watching TV all day. And don't watch shows like The Real Housewives because the ladies have quiet conversations over coffee.

Conflict sells. Although a few of the shoes I like such as Action Hunters, Tank, Pawn Stars, American Pickers and American Restoration. Tank I like seeing what new thing they create as the others can show cool stuff that they come across.
