There is only one, and I mean ONE spider that lives if he comes in close proximity to me. That's the Daddy long legged spider. Simply because his bite can't penetrate human skin. I was bit by a spider many years ago in my basement right below my eyebrow. What I didn't know about spiders before that: When they bite they release a venom that liquifies so that they can suck the victim out. When the scab fell off it was yucky underneath and I have an indent/scar where that bite was. Once I was on the lake when one came out from the kayak pit and started crawling towards me....I freaked and almost tipped in the lake. I'm making the awful noises and splashing water at it. I almost lost my paddle and people were laughing like I was crazy. Maybe I was... But I hope that spider couldn't swim to shore

Thank you for that. I will never sleep again without fear of a huge cane spider attacking me *shiver* Happy to oblige =) No need to worry about cain spiders there in Alabama though so sleep well. No thank goodness we don't sadly we have every other kind of spider. I have seen a black widow *shiver* Safe to say I ran the other way. Alabama also has lots of snakes and shockingly in certain areas scorpions I have seen two of those in my sisters house. No one believed us(well mainly her husband didm't) and we saved it for him lol |
