I had a guy last night trying to chat me up, but even when I mentioned wanting to see a photo, I never got one. If you talk to me three times about how much you'd like to go on a date with me and yet you still don't want me to see your face, that just seems kind of skeevy to me. Like, what are you trying to hide, and if we went on a date, would you show up with a paper bag on your head like the Unknown Comic?

Impala SS And, how many of us had names for our cars? I name my vehicles. Haven't always, but have with the most recent two and my current one. I remember my mom used to call all her cars "Bessie". I've had a "Betsy" (literally 'my father's Oldsmobile', until he lost his vision and thus his license), a "Goldie" and now a "Sadie". A few of my close friends name theirs, so I think that's where I picked the habit back up. |
