Topic: Was I wrong? | |
---|---|
I broke up with a guy and he had left a couple of CDs and DVDs here. He wanted to come get them. Mind you he had been being very rude with me. It was late at night and no one was around and my place is pretty safe so I double bagged them so no one could see what they were and tied them tight to the door knob and went to bed. He calls and calls and texts and texts calling me obscenities. Was there anything wrong with tying them to the door knob? I do it all the time with stuff for friends. Nothing has ever been stolen.

Nope, it's just his rudeness and immaturity that he wants to come by late at night....

If the man got his things back, then why is he upset? He must have wanted to see you in person. Maybe he wanted to be a Bully. because you broke up.

I think he either wanted to see you, whether for your booty or other reasons, or he wanted a fight and used his things tied to a doorknob as an excuse to pick one.

sounds like you dodged a bullet.............you did nothing wrong and him calling and texting obscenities shows what a jerk he really is. What would it of hurt for him to call you and thank you for giving his stuff back and if he wasn't ok with the way it was done to explain that (nicely)JMO

Woulda been Nicer 2 Hand them to him (during the Day). Even tho we've Broken up with Some1, I think We don't have 2 Stop being Nice to them |

You need to thank God that you were protected despite yourself on this one cause you definitely must not have been thinking clearly to entertain this oaf anyway! Know better, do better. This guy obviously was not on your level so why even start with someone like this? Stop doubting yourself--you already know the answer!!! You should have never bothered with this knucklehead. Look within to fix this problem. |

i think you shell just call him yourself and ask if he will like to meet you for tea or caffee during the day, like 12 or 13pm, when people are around,1, there you are save, and 2, you will be comfortable in yourself, tell him nicely that you did't answer his calls because you was bussy, but you has call him, because you wanted to give his things back.and tall him not to call or sms you anymore that you want to move on with your life, so he should do the same too. that way he will understand, and you will be more confident, and comfortabe with youself.good luck with him.
