My goodness, if you read all my work it could take days instead of hours... because I really like to express my thoughts and feelings... and I wish I could just let myself go and be bluntly sarcastic at times too... ... hatred though? Maybe some really serious anger and frustration, but very seldom at that... those kinds of feelings just make me feel awful inside, so I try to just avoid whatever makes me feel so intensely bad... it is my pleasure to share my thoughts, and it makes me even happier when they are useful to others... unless they are infringing on copyrights...

Today is going to be another work day busy one, but I'm still going to try and wrestle in some fun... Now that I've finally finished arranging all my poetry and short stories on Athena's Poetry thread, I'll have more room for ideas inside my head. You'd be surprised how much clearer you can think, when everything you need is in order, and it throws the chaos out of sync...

hi my names Renarde..boy ya gotta watch me..i'll tell ya what.tell ya a little story. about a meal a meal i've just enjoyed...and what makes me proudest is i got ta crow a little bit as well..i was strolling along a beautiful hungry day,wondering what i could steal when i saw crow gloating in his plumage and the tasty treat he held.
well theres a meal for me i thought and i know just the thing that will let me pick that treat without a bead of sweat or effort.
Splendid bird,a vision beautiful how you shine in the sunlight your plumage adorable i bow down to your perfect self and ask myself the question?if such a faultless beauty could sing as well, as magnificent as looks suggest,why shouldnt they be king of all there is ? would that not be fair?
Oh vain crow so proud couldnt wait to open up its beak to demonstrate what it thought was its very best feature..foolish bird didnt notice i had snapped up its treasure..oh cheese it stinks ...i gulped it down you completly miss the point..i wanted it and gotted it by the clever way i think. vanity and pride or just lovely words it really doesnt matter ..ive tricked so many now i am quite the master..and ohh the tears and swears only make it better oh i am such a clever fox and i love to see it proven..oh the crow that was funny-mad as hell but took the time to ask about its voice.

Treading in deep water? Not around me. I find your story of out-trickery to be quite amusing, after all we each enjoy our own form of self entertainment, just as I put my poetry thread together as a convenience for myself. No one has ever taken much of an interest in my personal vision, so I doubt having my work more easily accessible to me will change the way other people respond to it. In fact, there are far more talented writers here at Mingle that truly deserve accolades for their work. And I appreciate what interest you have taken thus far in mine, but you may also want to check out the other more educated writers, if you haven't already, as their work is far more sophisticated and eloquent, and I believe some may already have been published. My work is like me, simple and easy to read, and I’m here writing as a way to express myself, also to relieve stress you might say, so there is nothing profound about the art I create.

As for the silly crow who allowed a bit of flattery to overtake his senses, hopefully his loss will teach him not to be so foolish the next time.

Spring is in the air, and today will be one of toil and gain. Of new loves unfolding, as old love takes with it all the pain. When I look back and remember how deeply I was entrenched, it hurts to realize I meant nothing to you, even then. But, as time went on I gave voice to all my cares, living in the moment I left bread crumbs to find my way back to where it all started, and now I can see that you were never really there, only the cold-hearted. What I lived that brought me so much joy and excitement was purely a fantasy, loved by only me. But now, even with the public humiliation hanging over my head from the cruel things you said in hatred, I will remain true to myself and not allow your negativity to break my spirit. I will continue to sing my own song, and I’ll figure out just where I belong. With each day forward my heart mends the break, the one you don’t even think you made, and I know that real love will find me some day, and we will be proud to accept each others ways, never making a mockery of us to put on display. Until then, may we all know peace and harmony each and every day…

Over confidence has led the queen into battle for the board illogically, today, allowing the king to slide through her moves. Excitement is most definitely filling the senses, as the future unfolds rapidly in front of us. Who will win, and who will lose?

What will the end of today reveal, when we look back to see? Will it consist of every good thing we can create it to be? Will our hearts feel happy, sad, or angry? Do we believe in destiny? In what goes around, comes around? Do we really want peace?

Life is good even on bad days. We're all lucky if we have at least one special person in our hearts that wants to pick us up when we fall down. It's this type of close connection that we cherish and nurture, because we know how much it hurts when, and if, we don't have anyone at all.

Well, folks, I've got a 2 week work schedule starting today, weather permitting. The site is on the other side of Mississippi, so there will be lots of round trip road time, leaving early in the mornings, and don't know what time we'll be getting home in the evenings yet. So, I won't be around during the days, but I'll still post during the midnight hours if I don't need to catch up on my sleep.

More often than not, when we snooze we lose. That's why I always try to stay one step ahead of the next day, the next play, the next adventure that comes my way. And if we're smart, or just tired of getting beat, when plan A fails, we always have a plan B.

To avoid frustration and doubt that can lead to insecurity, even jealousy, we need to always be honest, open, and willing to communicate our feelings in the moment. If those of us who truly care about each other, regardless to the type or intensity of our relationships, continue to respect our personal boundaries while staying closely knit on the same page, just imagine how much deeper our love and/or admiration will take root, and flourish.

Do you ever wonder how we are able to smoothly blend one day into the next, with so many different issues, big and small, that occurs in each of our lives every day? Sometimes all the little things add up until they become one really big obstacle we can't avoid any longer? And the difference in outcome depends on how we manage our own attitudes and actions in relation to said dramas?

It's at times like these that I like to remind myself not to sweat the small stuff. And, as long as we know in our hearts that we haven't done anything to bring about any negativity into our lives, then we can remain confident that everything will always work itself out in a positive manner.

And that's what really matters most, is that we respect ourselves first, and live up to our own personal standards, even if they are different from others, so long as we do our best to be our best, and treat others with respect, then good karma is ours to appreciate.

Well, the weekend is almost over once again, another week is before us, and I can't help wonder how our lives could be so different come this same time next Sunday. Or, if we will still be keeping to our routines as life goes on around us. We never know what the future holds until we get there and play it by ear.

Some days it's hard to keep a smile and light heart, when everything in life may look so dark. Having bad days happens to everyone, and no matter how we try to hide it, those that know us well can see our struggles, even if they can't do very much to help. But, it's during the times of difficulty, when the mud we might be stuck in seems too deep, and we're getting no where fast, that we can turn to the people in our lives that we know can be counted on to lend an ear, and give advice that we trust won't steer us wrong.
