Burning Inside of Her
The nervous flickering of the street lamp was the first thing she saw . . . it was over for now at least But the raw pain the bruises the bleeding the mental anguish of a stranger taking her femininity taking the essence of her soul her very being had just begun She struggled to stand to move to understand what she had just endured why it happened she tried in vain to regain her dignity straightening out her torn and disheveled clothes, wiping the blood from her wounds while removing the pain from her mind . . . but to no avail she could still feel him hovering above her his smell his breathing his fist his hate burning inside of her The nervous flickering of the street lamp hurt her eyes . . . she touched her face, gently the swelling slowly the tears began to fall as her whispered cries for help found no one she was alone under a menacing sky absent of any light just darkness pain and the reality the possibility that she may be carrying his . . . “Oh God please; no” |

Hey, Mig25 . . .
Very radical indeed. Poor woman! And a grand description of the hell she went through. Real, or not, this is a definite wake-up. So, thanks for the read, Mig. tommy boy PS: AthenaRose2 hit it right on the nail head. === |
