Having 2 kids close together isn't as bad as a lot of people can make it out to be. I have a 2 year old son and a 10 month old daughter. The easiest way for me to make sure that they both get all the attention they need is to do things together. We read together and play. My son loves to help with his sister. Getting diapers, gettin bottles, throwing things away etc. He really just fell right in love with her and always wantes to be around her. Don't worry, it will fall into place, just don't force it. Your older child may be a little clingy at first but he will realize what is going on quickly and if he is involved in the activites that are going on, it just makes it that much easier. Even when I was breastfeading my daughter, I would always make sure to verbaly interact with my son so he didn't feel left out totally. Hope this helps a little and congrats!!
