It all started here on site..Expressing feelings through messages, phone calls and stuff..finaly it resulted in folks wanting to meet each other in the real life...what would you do if you found he/she physically deformed?

So what. If you've progressed to the point of meeting it shoudn't make a difference. It would result in you feeling lied to or you being shallow.

So long as we tell the person upfront the truth and let them decide what they can handle before we meet, because if we don't that's kinda like bait and switch, don't you think? And once a person sees that we'll lie about something that could sway their desire to meet us or not, chances are good that we won't get a second date, because they'll probably think we'll lie about everything else that's important to know too. IMHO

Depends if I knew beforehand.

I generally don't care, but then again I'm not putting a lot in it lasting anyway so tend to go for good personalities over looks quite often.

Far better story when it all goes up in flames.

Some might be scared as not to scare the person away by revealing the truth before meeting... Telling the truth is only solution,anyway... Thanks for comenting.. Agree with you,also..

I'm disabled/handicapped myself, but not deformed. Do you mean like an amputee or do you mean like the hunchback of notre dame? Or both?

Friendships & relationships are based on what is INSIDE; NOT OUTSIDE.

That is true but it is also why I am curious as to what he means by deformed.

I don't consider amuptees disfigured, just scarred from life. If you were born "deformed," that is to me.

Someone who doesn't tell you is in effect lying to you already, what good is that? Of course, if they have the personality you want does the less than perfect body matter?

I do not understand the purpose of the question if you are already set in your answer.

If it is physical and noticeable, then that person should have told the other person they are meeting before they actually meet. If it is something not visable, then they should not tell. Often times, a meeting is just that, some do not go beyond meeting just once inperson. If it is someone, you are building a "committed" relationship with, then you should tell them, all important facts about yourself. Imho

The purpose is to know your reaction in such a situation...
