Topic: Watch Us Fall... | |

Feelings and word shadows unite
Seeking kinship They roll off the lips so thick Taking us, wasting us in time And the touch we crave so much With little attention brings affection While the wind blows between us … But, do we trust each other enough … How oft we dare to truly care As love is whispered in the air Yes, we see it, it’s over there And how do we attain our share By these feelings we extend to be More than we really are it seems But turn them off an impossibility So watch us fall, one, two, three Head over heels is what we prefer Smoldering embers kept lit for sure Silence is golden is part of the allure Is there sin found in motives so pure ©Athena Rose 02/04/13 |

Reminds me of fishing... but that would be a long and boring explanation. I enjoyed remembering my foolishness through this write... ty Oh, I love to fish.. fresh or salt water... lol... glad you enjoyed it.. hmm.. well, both. But the idea of chasing jumping fish as they move from place to place. We assume that everthing is random instead of watching for a pattern. Love, feelings, human behavior aren't so random either... but way too often I've moved the boat or spent a cast to where the action was... for a moment. It's always the thought of a kiss, isn't it? haha. They whisper sweet lies... |

They whisper sweet lies... okay, Teditis, I can see you're going deep on this one.. so let me take it one cast at a time... hehehe... 1For jumping fish, a cast net, or pole net will suffice... or, just angle the boat in their path and they'll jump in on their own... lol... 2)I see a pattern in everything, so that pretty much leaves anything random running loose... scattered... 3)No, we humans are pretty predictable... 4)Yes, it is always about the kiss/fish.. and what kind of bait and tackle the fisherman is going to use to get it... I definitely enjoyed the brain tease on this one... |

Haha, I soooo apologize for turning your wonderful craftsmenship into a fishing metaphor.
Still, that ain't the way to fish... imho. Watch the bait-fish, 'cause that's what the fish are chasing anyway, see? Keep your boat steady... don't move. Watch and make your choices. Same with love(rs). Don't watch what they do without accounting for what they're chasing. What they're chasing is what's important to them, afterall. If what they're chasing is a thing you can identify with, (have in your tacklebox)... move as you like. But the bait-fish are running for their lives... for a reason. Fishing can be a nasty business. haha. But in all that mess... I hope that you land a keeper. |

I enjoy your fish tails... hehehe and for a keeper it takes time and patience... having to throw so many undesirables back, before the perfect specimen comes out of nowhere... who knows, maybe it will be my particular lure that captures his attention and thereby him... one never knows what the appetite of a fish will be like when the tide is just right... |
