The throne of thorns is coming
spun of sun and silk castrating Neptune's bones from breeding blood and filth All my forgotten names ancient serpents in my soul perforated prophecies an abortion lost in utero Invoking all your saints a poetic malady blinded by the Fate's and their myopic prophecy A centaur's snare of chaos the Iliad engulfing me drunk on the blood of Mars now war is all I see Launching my confession a full frontal assault of grandiose repentance freeing me from fault Suffering in soulful screams Reality a lucid dream Clawing at my jaw this labyrinth of lies hunting down the minotaur a dragon in disguise Lathered in her web Medusa's bearing down in paralytic stone my tongue comes unwound Milking the womb of madness a masochistic reverie my soul committed suicide now my mind is haunting me *I should have probably included this warning after my first submission, but my poetry is a raw reflection of stereotypes and hypocrisy, with a prevalent religious undertone. It's angry and paradoxical, I hope no one's offended.* |
