Cloaked in my snow bed
under a blanket of stars reflecting our love lines through life's ceremonial scars You've painted your memory and saturated my soul with your spectrum of wisdom and prophecies left untold Together we've drawn our altar on land bent our heads to the heavens held God in our hands and bedded with flowers just as the weeping willow tree so have we grown roots in the arms of the sea We've spoken to tree nymphs and danced with the rain screamed alongside the thunder while she's lamented in vain Our communion with nature rituals blending in part our cherished laugh lines in the folds of each others hearts I've spilled my tears at your feet sorrow sung like biblical psalms and just like a martyr you've held my despair in your palms Cultivated the fire of my faith and cradled my hope philosophies fall from your lips easily spoke I carry you always your teachings play like a song my cerebral architecture will cradle your memory long after you're gone So when heaven hearkens for you the entrails of your song and bends it's bows to your roots your memory carries on because together we've blended two lives intertwined a memorial of friendship familial love married with time |

Welcome, and nicely done. A touching poem of the power of God, instilled in the little things all around, and that we should see his power and grace in....Awesome
