Escaping from Wonderland seemed so easy.
For once, reality more desirable than fantasy.
But it was more of the mad hatter in disguise.
Finding him outself his realm was a surprise.

I didn't realize we spent much time together.
As hard as I try I just can't seem to forget her.
That smile; Those lips; The softness was mine.
I try to remember the joy with each new line.

Now am caught in the betwixt and between.
If only for a moment a juxtaposition of green.
Blue and yellow mixed; Sadness and coward.
Trudging the road to destiny must go forward.

Now just want to throw the book into that fire.
But I really can't blame Alice for all this desire.
The chameleon can't blink like that old Cheshire.
Don't really know how I got into this new mire.

It used to be so easy just to run far, far away.
But I am digging myself out of the pit today.
Alice do you want to come on this new trip?
Or will you wait to sister awakens and skip?
