*reads random previous page* Now I'm craving poutine. Haven't had it since the last time I was in Toronto. Ah well. At least I have coffee. What is "poutine"?? Courious minds would like to know?? YOU never had a poutine? It fries with gravey and cheese curds and believe it or not you put a little white vinegar on top. Very popular here in Canada. Cheese curds??? Is that cottage cheese? |

I remember when I was a kid we could get cheese curds in a bag at the supermarket. They were really tasty, and we'd eat them as a snack. Basically they had a mild cheese flavor, slightly salty, and make kind of a squeaking sound between your teeth when you bit down on them.
Basically, it's cheese before it's been pressed together in the more familiar block form generally sold in stores. |
