Somewhere around middle of December, the entire world, India in particular was greeted with the news of a very primed yound lady who was brutalised, raped & left for dead while riding home in a bus. And then there were protests by men, women, young & old, lasted for more than a week even after she was confirmed dead. A lot of things are being said, done & happening as we speak. New Delhi. Now here is another place, also in same India, Punjab...where a week long ''Festival of Rape'' has just been celebrated. (read this somewhere on the internet. Could be a joke) In which little girls between the age of 12 & 17, when caught in the melee, are raped by as many as 8 fierce looking men. And if they show any resistance...they are instantly stoned to death.
Please world of 21st century...this cannot be true...or is it.

The "Punjab Rape Festival" is fake. This is not a true story. It was started on a satire site and is being reported as true. It is so new it is not yet debunked on Scopes, but will probably be soon.

You can always find stuff to be upset about. Don't let fake stories be that thing. This is a racist story meant to get people upset against Indians. Total crap.

the rape occurred, but the festival didn't

The socalled "Punjab rape festival" is totally NOT TRUE. I keep in close contact with good friends in London UK, and assured of its falseness. As for the rape and murder of the young woman in India, several men have been arrested. If guilty, they should recieve a severe punishment if not the death penalty. Disgusting behavior and crime that should not be tolarated under any circumstances. I was glad to see the uproar by Indian society.
