I don't do it for company-I just turn the tv on for noise. Even if I am just sitting around reading a book. I can't stand silence.

I do it with music since edm dub or anything cheerful is nice. Its normal.

I love listen music like kiss , capital but nice tone.... But it's depend on my mood when off then I hate radio....nd turn off it hardly......

I have the tune in app on my smart phone. I can hear my local NPR station from anywhere I go and I also like some pod casts. Yes, it's for company, but also to stay current. |

Certainly not for all the endless and moronic chatter of most radio stations, AM or FM. I like straight non-stop music and with the cable TV, I'm able to tune in stations that only play several types of music for whatever mood I'm in or want while I do my art work. For my cats, I leave it on Chamber music when I'm out...they like it , they find it very soothing and calm. When I had 15, they all settled around the stereo and went to sleep instead of chasing each other all over the house like a herd of wild Mongols....
