I've walked along the boardwalks
With my pistol on my side
With more respect than fear for men
A cowboys sense of pride

COLORADO COLORADO
Rocky Mountain High
Where Cowboys live
And Cowgirls Love
And sometimes Cowboys die

And as the sunlight greets the Morn'
MUCH the work at hand
It's still a way of living here
This life we hold so grand

MAJESTIC are the Mountains
Beneath the cool blue skies
As AWESOME are the flowers
In the Meadows As they rise

A place for raising children
And teach them right from wrong
A place that makes your heart sing so
A great man wrote her song

So here would i invite you
To come and rest and play
Where neighbors still are neighborly
Adventures bound each day

A walk along a moonlit trail
A campfire in the night
The laughter of the children
And their smiles so warm and bright

A place you'd wanna hang your hat
When morning turns to night
A place that we call home my friends
Beneath the the sunlit sky
