Yes; I agree. Love isn't enough to change what's happening in the world today.

Love is the only thing that can change what's happening in the world today.

Not enough? There is nothing more powerful than love.

I think common sense is needed as we have seen how love makes people do very stupid things; even kill someone in the name of.

I would not call that love. I would imagine there is a lot of fear in that mix.

I think personally it's stupid jealousy but however it started out as love. Not only a lot of fear in the mix but also a lot of stupidity in the mix in my opinion. Fact is it so damaging when you love someone with all your heart and its no reciprocated. Most people will walk away and move on; however this isn't true with everyone; then this is where the problems begin. Because of love; people are wllling to be hurt and I don't just mean emotionally. Personally; I think that is all screwed up but you read and hear about it every day.

You are confusing love with human emotions, wants, desires etc. Real love does not wither and die or turn evil if it is not "reciprocated." That is not real love, it is the desire to be loved.

Romantic love between a man and a woman is basically a mutual admiration society. You love me and I will love you. They want their love to be reciprocated. If that does not happen then they are unhappy. I say that is not real love that is ego.

Real love is divine and hold a respect for all life. You love knowing that you are connected to all that exists. We do not have the mental capacity to understand our enemies so we don't know how to love them.

Love them anyway and take the rest on faith that they are part of this living universe and part of all that is. They are part of what we call God.

I get what you are saying. You don't have to love your enemy to respect them. While in Europe; the Russians so to speak were the Enemy to Europe but we did have the greatest respect for them. Of course its just my opinion; it must start with respect for all life before it can turn to love.

When you experience love as a state of being you will experience bliss and you will know your connection to all things. When you understand and experience divine love, there are no such thing as enemies.

We have always been our own worst "enemy." When we learn to love ourselves and learn who we really are, then there can be no enemies.

I agree with about us being our own worst enemy. Its hard to love yourself though when others and the world itself does bring you down and makes you feel worthless.

If you love yourself no one can bring you down or make you feel worthless. Its an illusion.

There are no "others" when you realize that we are all connected and that we are all ONE.
