Hell, we're not even on the list...Even Christian Mingle is beating us.

This site needs a massive campaign to get new users before we can match wits with the likes of Match or so on. When it was JustSayHi it wasn't all that bad, maybe they need to take notes from the previous site or update the current model. A lot of things, a lot of money...That would be the problem if I had to put a guess out there.

My first site I was ever on was pof. I didn't like it at all. Mingle 2 is so much better. Plus its nice to talk to people from other countries.

POF sucks! Was on there for a few years, got nothing but pervs. This place is definitely top in my book!

This site is pretty much the same as it was when I joined twenty some odd years ago, or however long it's been now. I remember that I was going barhopping a lot when I first signed up and realized that were some awesome writers and an active forum. So it's been a minute.

I never expected to hook up with anyone from this site and it is out of obscure chance that I have had any intimate relationships here.

No more Intimacy and Sex threads, so you lose that demographic. And then there's the whole inability to search by last login date... which pretty much everybody has commented on, wondering why that feature isn't added. I don't write code, so I don't know how complicated it would be.

I think that most people come out of curiosity, looking for someone, and anybody who stays will stay for the forums and friends (typically).

We do have free-verse and horror cosplay pictures available.

I haven't been here long at all but I'm already to the point where I login and go straight to the forums. All of the women who have messaged me deleted their accounts shortly after and were probably scams anyway. I've had actual dialogs with two of them, one was cool but she was the "I don't need a man, I'm just here for friends" type, the other just sort of flaked out on me. Not sure what she was up to. Basically it's become just a fun social site. I look to the other sites I'm on for the dating aspect of it.

Totally Agree about POF! I got so many propositions on that site I thought there was a price tag over my picture!

I actually ended up here through trickery. A friend posted a link to some weird quiz on FB and I clicked on it out of boredom. The link redirected me and asked if I would like to check out a new dating sight, assuring me that I would be brought back to said quiz afterwards. I checked it out and made a profile because I figure you can never be on too many dating sites. I was never brought back to this supposed "quiz site" and haven't seen it since. Don't get me wrong, I've gotten more entertainment out of this than I would've from "How many midgets would it take to beat you up". Nonetheless it was deceitful. Did anyone else end up here this same way or was I the only one that was bait-and-switched?

Free sites are not the Best for finding a Real match. That is if you seeking more than Just a date.

The only way I managed to get here was from Google and joining just about every free site there was! I have no doubt M2 would rate a LOT better if more people actually knew about it. That is likely a reason for the vast amount of inactive profiles here. No matter where you live, there's usually not many other local active people, so most of the new people become inactive also. POF managed to get the ball rolling with plenty of active LOCAL people (I use the word "people" loosely in their case....) and now they're ranked #1. Look at the top 10 list and what do they have in common? Yep. They advertise. Anybody ever see a M2 commercial? I didn't think so......

I have been here for awhile. They do have a history of kicking people off the site that are actually enertaining or at least kinda funny. I come here for a little fun. Well it probably didn't help having a pedophile for a moderator for 4 years either.........

There has been a few times that they mighta been a hair quick to throw people in Mingle jail. I'm not defending him AT ALL, but as far as Lex goes, I don't think any of us saw that coming....

Im not opposed to dating someone from mingle( forums) ...even though its a free site...but I would have to be roofied and tied to a car hood before dating anyone on POF!

Although it is not officially a dating site, Tagged by far was the best for me for communicating beyond the website. AFF is good, but expensive if you are just hanging out on the site. OkCupid is like Mingle to me. Very low pressure and easy to hang out in. The Mingle community forums are better though.

This site is a lot more pleasant than another site I have seen. I'm not complaining but it could use more activity. It doesn't seem to have the same amount of "action" going on as far as the forums go, as other sites I have seen. But this seems like a great site so I don't understand why it is that way. It SHOULD be number one. I really like the people that actually do hang out on here in the forums. I am just saying we could use a lot more of them on here. Like I said, this place SHOULD be the best. It has the best people and most pleasant conversations. Not any trolling going on like I have witnessed on other sites.
