Or Peterson could be speaking out against ideology that he believes to be harmful to black Americans.

Anyway, accusing Peterson of being an accessory to bigotry appears to me to be a bit of a red herring to distract people from his message, which the OP mentions.

So, are there black Americans who think of President Obama as being some sort of physical savior who will give them things that they want?

of course there are black people who thik of Obama as savior just as there are white people who think Elvis is still alive

but wouldnt it be extremely belittling and ridiculous for a white journalist to write a piece about how clueless white people are because of those few?

I feel it just as ridiculous to asser that blacks became immoral in the last fifty years waiting for someone to be a savior, because of the few(black and white) who expect him to work miracles,,,

Now, that is a statement that I can agree with.

Clearly, Peterson has encountered black Americans who expect President Obama to give them certain goodies, but I don't believe that those particular black Americans are representative of all black Americans.

I think if there is a superior race on this planet, it would be the black people. Maybe they have been on earth longer too.

Like women, they have been suppressed and Black education has been withheld, and very poorly funded, otherwise they would be more educated as a whole. That does not mean they are not extremely intelligent. They are.

Physically, its obvious... look at sports. They are just better, stronger, faster.

Black people don't show their age the way White skinned people do. A comedian I watched the other day, married to a black woman let the secret be known.

I understand the tendency of people to second guess what might be

both sides do

some believe slavery was good because they assume that africans would be worse off had they not been enslaved

likewise some believe <gender, or race here> are stronger or smarter because they assume the other gender or races would not be able to achieve similarly under similar circumstances


I think humans have immense and untapped capability, whatever their race or gender

I think some have had situations which have made those capabilities more apparent than others,, thats all
