In us we felt the deepest part of our soul
Much light we followed to find our footing feet In darkness now we stumble, no where to go Numb, lost and humbled in this wretched defeat Ever the consummate play, it’s pretend to the end Smiles bring excitement; love is what we’re all after Curtains close, applause forgotten, stage door friends Echoes blind our eyes; shadows hide and find no laughter How can we finish with no beginning, life is so damn cruel! Being alone, always and forever, seeing what fate bestows Her paths our imprints only for others to see us as fools? Finale’s dance over, loves lost, chances gone, end of the road Copyright © Athena Rose 12/06/12 |

This part...
Smiles bring excitement; love is what we’re all after Curtains close, applause forgotten, stage door friends Echoes blind our eyes; shadows hide and find no laughter WOW. Haunting and sad. Reminds me of that feeling I got as a child when it was time to move gain. Or that feeling of when you want the play not to end. |
