and the memories become static
across the broken screen
of an imaginary yesterday

sorrow will swallow you
as you swallow it
and your oroboros kiss complete
your design will be absolute
for inglorious nights
spent dying in den room corners
or bathing in broken street lights

but hope
hope will fester
like a rotting seed
in the soil of some assumed purpose
until it grows new sorrows
and kisses you again

Wow! PP, this is intense! Sorrow can drive you to self destruction if you let it.. and unfulfilled hope can eat away at you as you wait... causing even more drama.. this is my take.. thanks for the bite.. very good write..
