---No, I didn't write this recently...I wrote it probably about three months ago and just never put it out there for people to see, and since I'm taking a hiatus I figured I'd cycle out unfinished work. I probably will not have too many to share though, I have distinct reasons why they are not to be seen on top of feeling like they are unfinished.

I fear that I will be inadequate,
Not in action but in intention,
I fear that I will be relocated,
Not from reality but my dream state mind frame.

I live in the shadows of great men,
Bellowing my call from a silent mountaintop,
I live amongst people who do not seem to care,
That their legacy is going to be left to the wicked.

I write as a testament of my time,
Statements that will replay throughout history,
I create from a palette made of pen ink,
Lasting memories that I will forever keep.

I use my paper as a guide through this reality,
Because I find it so stark in contrast to the great,
I live in a constant visual world of fiction,
Creating words for even the most simple.

Because everyone deserves a great story,
A great line that can live among memories.

You have a natural talent Fear..I'm glad you shared this.

Athena; I've found it doesn't much matter where your heart is. My heart can be in the right place all it wants, it doesn't mean that the other people know or even care.

Oh noooo, fear.. I hope you're not saying you aren't going to write for a while.. just because everyone doesn't understand what we convey, or seem to care, doesn't mean that our work, our hearts don't touch those who may need the vibes we share, and may be too jaded by their own experiences to reach out. We never know who's lives we can impact by our efforts to leave our lasting imprints on this earth. Much peace and happiness to you my friend..

My other poem I went a bit more in depth, but essentially...Writing is doing nothing positive for me right now so I'm taking a hiatus.
