Topic: Computer updating problem. | |
---|---|
For about a week now, the computer reports 7 updates, including but not limited to security updates. It begins, then automatically quits. Even if I manually tell my computer to check for updates it does the same thing. When I visit microsoft's site to update directly from them, it tells me to update using the update program on the computer.
Any suggestions? |

Thank you for your idea, but problem has been solved.
It was all because of the flash block I have. I could have swore I had tried disabling it in previously and trying to update. But it worked this time. Still haven't figured out how a flash block could prevent the computer from updating. |

Thats good news!
Flash block speeds up your os load time etc (as far i know right now). I guess it may also work a bit like the deep freeze program, keeping the system out of troubles way by not letting anything new to install permanently.. But i am speculating way too much! Why dont you check online literatures? |
