Steve,
You should be proud of what you have accomplished so far and remember the Universe does not give you ANYTHING so profound or LARGE that you can not overcome it....STAY STRONG...if you are a believer, pray with conviction and THANK GOD and the Universe for the healing you have ALREADY recieved and deserve as a child of this World. It is yours for the asking... Keep us posted...You have many friends on here that are praying for your continued sobriety AND a healing. Where one or more are gathered, the healing love of Christ is with them...we are all gathered together WITH you. You ARE NOT ALONE.... |

As soffit said the liver is an organ that can repair itself, as soon as you stopped drinking, your liver started to work at getting better. Keep your chin up and be proud of yourself that you have made it to 30 days!! Hugs and prayers for your continuing success! |

30 days!! Woohooooooo. That first 30 can be a burger, huh? And the second and the third. You have made a huge step my friend. Keep up the strong will, and may your blessings flow.
There is so much to be said for being clean and sober. Strength and pride come from your hard work. I know it is hard work. Yaaa hooo!!!!!! I'm proud of you. Luck with your results and may God keep His arms around you. Kat |

Stevil,
Im a counselor, and deal with this issue daily, if you have liver problems, they have medication that can help but the biggest issue is the drink, if you stop drinking is a good thing, just don't pick up that first drink baby, and stay away from the people you used to drink with, and the places, that should help with the triggers..I will pray for you if you need to talk about this, pleas email me, I will be there for you, |

used to have a couple of beers a week, possibly half pack of cigs. a day. after losing the wife of so many years started drinking and smoking heavy. for about three years was drinking about a case a day, smoking like three packs a day, one day said this is killing me. quit cold turkey have been sober for like six years, smoke free also. I can tell you it is h**l to quit but it can be done. just stick with it. good luck.
