I don't know why, but when ver I click on search and a profile comes up. the profile is blocked out by the following
Mutual Match is a simple and fun way to meet people that are interested in meeting you! Here's how it works... 1. We show you people, one at a time, who match your search preferences 2.For each person, you select Yes, No, or Maybe when asked if you're interested in meeting them. 3.Select "Yes" or "Maybe" and we'll show them your profile. If they indicate that they want to meet you, you have a mutualmatch When it appears, there is no way I can click on Yes , No or Maybe. Anybody else have the same problem? MIKE HELP: |

You are right Claudette, I would like to see what their response was too, and if van or mike see this I think it would be great that when you view a profile from the other ways, (like who's online), that you could put in your mutual match vote at that point instead of having to wait for it to show up as it is now.

I tried several times, but it just isn't working for me. I feel I'm missing out.

When the instruction box fades in, you can just click on the "X" in the upper right to close the screen. If you check the box labeled "Never show this again", you won't ever be shown that screen any more.
Dave2722 - that's a great idea, we'll see if we can make that happen. We took off the responses because a lot of people didn't feel comfortable with the other person knowing what they voted, i.e. if I said "Yes" and the other person said "Maybe" I might feel kind of strange about it. |

Yeah, but don't they have to click, yes, no, maybe before you can click all the same then, find out who it was that was interested? I have something that says, two are interested and then I try and see who,...well I can't see who unless I play a guessing game and click on someone and maybe, just maybe I may pick one of them. But if I ckick on the wrong one, I am still not going to know who it was. Right? I don't care for those kinds of games. I find myself trying to pick who it may be, instead of really looking to see who I may think I may like.

ok so if they show up as a match then they chose either yes or maybe then right?
and if we say no to a person then do we not show up on their list? |
|

I don't have any X appearing. The text fades in and that is reapeated all the way down the page.

I agree with another poster up there. I get emails that I have 13 interested matches.. Than another more interested matches then I go on the site.. And have to go thru tons of random people.
AAllllllllll the matches which are thousands!!!!! And I find myself at times pickn maybe just to see if they chose me.. Because, if we express no to the "unknown" interested person, we never know they were interested, and we may have been on the fence about it, and then lost a potential... grrrrrrrrrrr... its a neat feature the mutual match, but that part of it makes it less appealing. |

So how important is it to you guys to have your choices be anonymous? For a lot of users, it's important to them that the other user doesn't know what they chose, but I want to get a sense from everyone as to how you guys feel about it.
There are a couple of ways we could do Mutual Match: - Keep it as is: the other person has no idea what your vote was for them unless it's a mutual match. So even if you vote "Yes" or "Maybe", they'll have no idea unless they vote "Yes" or "Maybe" for you too. And if you have a match, you still don't know exactly what their vote was - you only know that is was a Yes or a Maybe, but not which one. - Reveal all of the people who've voted "Yes" or "Maybe". So if you vote "Yes" or "Maybe" for someone else, we'll show them that you want to meet them, even if they haven't voted for you yet. If you vote "No", though, we won't show that to the other person - they'll have no idea that you rated them at all. What's your preference between these two options? Any concerns? |

Mike,
Keep it the way it is, if it's not broken, don't fix it. |

HUM to be honest I did not say flat out yes on any of them just either maybe or no so it really don't matter as long as you know that at least both did say maybe then take it from there.

I agree.
