My ma is always funny when it comes to remembering expressions.
Don't remember the rest of the conversation, but she wanted to say "go take a long walk off a short peer." She thinks she says it right, (she had long and short in the correct order), but she made a key mistake that undermines the whole expression. It came out: "Why don't you take a long walk off a short <bridge>" I'm like.... ok.. what do I do when I reach the other side? ![]() |
