My Staffie Bruno, tries to have a conversation with me with wee growls, etc, when he wants out. He also can rip a thick knotted rope toy apart in under 10 minutes and goes nuts if you say to him ' where's the Cats? ' He's a good dog though!

Last winter my dog would run into the river and then when she got out she would run around like a nut and then roll around in the snow I guess to dry off. I think the running after is to build body heat. The drying off in the snow doesn't make much sense. But she does the same thing in the sand in the summer.
I also kind of think my dog is kind of socially retarded or something. She want to play with other dogs. but she usually freaks them out. She will go to people to get petted and then growl at them as they pet her. It's really weird and confusing to the people who are petting her. I'm glad she hasn't done that to any of my nieces or nephews yet. But then I've had a toy for her to play with when they were here. |

I've had several quirky cats over the years, but the one who takes the taco was Joli Be`be`. That silly little goober chased her tail, turned somersaults when she was happy, rode my shoulders when I was doing housework or dancing, loved to be jerked backward by her tail, sat up like a dog to watch the water when the toilet was flushed and so much more! I could go on for quite a while. I've never seen a goofier cat than she was! lol
By the way, the tail pulling thing was discovered one day when I needed to take her to the vet. She knew what was coming & tried to get away. I was just fast enough to get her tail. I wasn't trying to pull it, but stop her from getting away. She stopped, looked at me as though to say, OO! I like that!" It was an ongoing game until the day she died. Next up would be Evening Mist (Misty) who is absolutely obsessed with her favorite toy. It's a key ring & she loved to play fetch. I couldn't fool her for anything! Tried to fake her out. Nope! She knew. lol If I didn't throw it for her when she wanted, she'd get behind me on the back of the couch & pull my hair! :-) Misty is 19 years old, now. She still loves her key ring & will run around with it hollering. She doesn't fetch like she used to, but she still loves to play. Whoever started this post, thank you!! It was great going through everyone's pet quirks!! lol |

When I'm working on a deck of cards getting it ready to ship my cat Princess lays on my work. If I move the deck to my lap she lays on my lap. She just wants attention and she doesn't like me to have my attention on my work.

My dog acts like a dog. But I guess that's normal.

I have a chinchilla who performs tricks for me for treats, he also jumps on my head to escape his cage and if I fall asleep with him out he uses his littles paws to wake me up just to watch him play -_-

My cat, Zoe, wants to cuddle before she decides to take a nap. She will stand atop my thighs, hang over my shoulder and nuzzle into my neck or ear. Climbing up my torso, Zoe waits for me to hold her for a while. She will lay down on her side, with her foo-man-chu whiskers poking me in the neck until she is halfway asleep.
Damn cat has trained me well, IMO. |
